Acupuncture is a form of treatment that involves inserting very thin needles through a person's skin at specific points on the body.There are over 2000 points in our body but your Acupuncturist will assess you and carefully pick 3 or 4 points for the treatment. 

​At your first appointment, Practitioner will do a full diagnostic consultation asking medical history and current problems, including taking pulse on both wrists and look at your your tongue and abdominal palpitation. This comprehensive diagnostic consultation allows the practitioner to create a suitable balanced treatment plan including lifestyle and dietary advice as well as acupuncture.
It is useful to wear loose clothing if possible. The initial consultation and treatment will take approximately 1hr, all treatments thereafter will take 45 mins.
